Appearance		Unique species of bamboo. Very straight, light tan colored bamboo. Medium sized nodes. Almost entirely solid.
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.)		Perfect for exterior applications, this product can easily be used indoors as well.
Fire Protection		Yes, sprayed or painted with Dura Series IV.
Durability		Non-toxic Octoborate of Borate treatment greatly increases bamboo's durability outdoors. Life expectancy outdoors is between 6 and 15 years, depending on climate.
Size		Available in diameters ranging from 1" to 2.5"
Strength		Can be used structurally. Doesn't split like other more common species of bamboo.
Treatment Process		Pressure treated. Insect preventatives including freshwater immersion for several weeks, then heat straitened over flame, boiled in boric acid, and then methyl bromide treated when stored in Sea Containers for shipment.
Taper		Very little taper.
